Can I charge One Fusion with a Z Play charger?

2020-10-26, 18:06 PM

Is it safe to charge the One Fusion with a Z Play charger? Specs are almost the same, except the Z Play charger output is 3A while the One Fusion charger is 2A.

Motorola warns that "a weak charger will take longer to charge your battery".

No mention there of using a charging block capable of a higher output.

Higher output should only happen when a device (phone etc) requests it.
The output (Amps) difference will not cause harm. Voltage can cause harm so if both chargers operate at the same voltage out, then you should be fine.
Your Z will charge more slowly using the Fusion charger, the Fusion will probably charge more quickly using the Z charger so just check for heat.

Use a search engine for something like "using higher output charger on phone".
