Re:Motorola One fusion plus Cellular Signal Strength Issues

Even i have the network signal issues. Signal strength is around 110-120 dBm. A lot of calls are getting dropped. I have visited Authorised service centre in Hyderabad. They did a factory reset and gave back phone stating it's fine and they can't do anything more. They told they can't replace the phone as its 2 week old and replacement is only for 7 days. Please help how can we use a plone that can't do is primary job of making/ receiving calls?? It works fine on 2G though.

Hi,

As mentioned earlier, To investigate this further we need your devices.  If you are willing to send us the phone back, it would be a great help. Let me know.

Thanks

Sandip

Why one will send u phn ? We bought this phn to send u ? Or to regular use ? It's your responsibility to fix major issues like network strength before pushing this phn to the market . So fix this issue without further delay .

@Agent_Sandeep

I have used more than 10 moto/Lenova phones in past five year. Recent moto/lenova device's have weak mobile signal strength and it's probably an issue of antenna design. The loss seams to be higher than 20dbm.

The wifi signal too switch readily to 2.4 GHz because 5GHz band loses signal at short range eventually reducing the speed.

Even after moving to plastic body design the loss is coming quite high. I urge you to take it to the antenna design team to provide the NextGen device hassle free connectivity.

@Agent_Sandeep

Can you be more specific than "Willing to send the device". Will we get a replacement device ? We have all bought tempered glass / screen guard for the device as there is no GG for this device. Moreover the phone is not even a month old. Don't you think people will be reluctant to send you their new phone for you to run experiments/ tests ? How long will it take to get back our phone once we send them to you ?

 And what happened to all the data collected through Google forms ?

Hi @Agent_Sandeep, Please let me know if pickup will be provided, i bought this phone since i know Motorola brings quality product to the market but really disappointed, by the signal issue this device has.

I have done all sort of suggestion and read the forum to follow all the steps, but looks like testing team missed something because of which this device has signal issue.

Please find the details for your reference.

Mobile: Motorola One Fusion Plus

Network : Jio

Tested with other network like vodafone and airtel too, only Motorola device has issue and even a 6k samsung mobile good strenght in signal and Internet speed.

It's almost equal to nothing using this device. Please help us recover from this issue.

Regards,

Shiva Kumar
