Hi! If you are not using Chromecast, I am afraid mirror casting won't work, as our models can only cast through Chromecast devices.

Kind regards,

Sara

Hello!

Thanks for writing to us, I would like to inform you that if you are using a Smart TV with built-in Chromecast natively supported by android, you can connect Motorola One Fusion+ through Wi-Fi.

If it is a normal TV, you need a Chromecast dongle for screencast/mirror to work your device with the TV.

I hope this clarifies. If you have any confusion, let me know.

Regards,

Suman

Facing the same issue when connecting to lg smart tv (tv has built in chromecast and connected to same wifi network). On the other hand OnePlus device readily casts screen to the lg tv. Did not expect such a simple feature to be buggy in a 2020 smartphone. Can this be fixed?

This may or may not work, but it's probably worth trying.

Power up your television and ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled. Also, if your television has Bluetooth, ensure that it's enabled. Additionally, if your television has a setting for Location, ensure that it's enabled.

On your phone...

1. Ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled and that your phone and your television are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You've probably already done this, but double-check it anyway.

2. If it's not already enabled, enable Bluetooth.

3. If it's not already enabled, enable Location.

4. From the Google Play Store, install the Android TV Remote Control app.

5. From the Google Play Store, install the Google Home app.

Now try Screen Cast again to see if it works. Also try to connect to your TV using the Android TV Remote Control app and the Google Home app.

Good luck, and sorry if this doesn't help.

Frank.

Hi,

Thanks for letting us know about this. Please check this link here, it shows how to connect your Chromecast dongle with your TV: https://support.motorola.com/in/en/solution/MS132659
