Hello, and thanks for taking the time to post. This is highly unlikely as the phone was not designed to support 90 Hz. The phone currently runs at 60 Hz and will likely remain at 60 Hz after the Android 10 update. Of course, there have been times where even I was surprised. I will pass your feedback along on my end.

@MotorolaTom  Well... we all think its unlikely too, but every single person in Brazil that received the update to 10 in the past few days have been reporting that option being available. Look! Can you please ask the developer team about it? You know, to understand if its true and if it every Macro user will get it? Thanks!

I hear you and as I said, earlier, I've already passed your feedback along.

Upon further looking into this on my device. It does look like this setting/option was added in error and doesn't appear to do anything when setting the phone to 90hz. I have reached out to some people on my end to get clarification though.

Hey @MotorolaTom

Please don't remove 90 hz option because soak testers of india who had received update are telling that 90hz refresh rate is doing its job well.

They think that this is not a bug even i think so.

Well here is the thing, I don't think the phone actually supports it, So it might just be a placebo affect. I tested on mine using a refresh rate checking app and setting the phone to 90hz in the settings did not reflect the change when checking with 3rd party apps. The phone was still operating at 60hz. This is why I'm looking into it.
