Hello, all I appreciate the additional photos and details. I have passed your feedback along. While I can't guarantee there will be any changes/improvements to the camera software on the phone, it has been escalated from my end.

@MotorolaTom

I don't see anything wrong with any of the functions of the camera on the Macro One.

As a professional photographer i am quite happy with it's capabilities.

Using it next to a Canon 6D

sorry could just upload one photo. i do have some sublime examples of professional quality photo's made with the Macro One

With version of software you run?

The actual version of the fotocamera motorola 2 that I have is Versione 7.3.25.64-jade (October 2019).

The version of tuner fotocamera moto 3 is Versione 1.20.3-lima (October 2019).

I know the quality of the camera. But shooting in raw did not solve the issue. The manual setting are totally ignored by the software even in JPG or raw mode. The only way is to update the software.

I find it disconcerting this because I also have a Motorola G8 of the same year and the fotocamera app has been updated several times with improve quality of setting.

Looking at other forums of other brands it seems that others users have the same problem after upgrading to Android 10 with different smartphone.

Is possible that the software is corrupted in the memory of the phone or a loss of optimization with Android 10? Hope an update soon.

Manual camera doing extremely bad after android 10 update

2021-03-06, 5:02 AM

Hello, two days ago I finally received Android 10 for my motorola one macro, and today I opened the camera in Manual mode, just to notice that the manual mode is not working at all how it should.

The faster the shutter speed is or the lower the ISO is, the darker the image should get. But this does not work at all until I get the ISO to 200. And even if i get to ISO 200, the exposure changes does not appear until I get to Shutter speed 1/2, any faster speed is not showed in the screen, or in the pictures. It happens both in RAW and in JPG. I took some screenshots from the camera app to show this. Plus, the pictures with flash ALWAYS get overexposed, and this is a problem that the camera shows since android 9 (this happens in every app btw, not only the camera app to be fair, maybe it's a problem that can't be solved with an update). Hope that my explanation was as clear as it should be (I don't speak english) and that the problem gets to the camera app developers at least. I'll leave some images to try to show my point, hoping that it is noticeable. Also, I'll leave a picture taken with flash. To show the over exposure.

Hello, we actually already have an existing thread related to the manual mode. I will merge your topic with that one. I've already escalated the issue with the manual camera mode from my end.

Re:The camera issue

I find a new issue. When I switch to video mode (macro video or slow motion) sometimes when I start the registration appears an error message "error camera" and the app crash with a total reset of all the setting in the app.

There are any news about the update of the app?

Are you getting the error when you start to record or just when you're trying to switch the modes?
