Re: Android 10 update issues

2020-01-01, 19:55 PM

After Android 10, the major problem for Motorola One Power has been the battery drain issue. Have visited multiple forums where this same issue is being discussed. Other phones like the Google Pixel are also facing this issue. Have to charge my phone atleast 3 times to keep it going through the day. This is really frustrating. Have tried everything like revoking user access for Device health and turned off location access for all apps. The problem still persists. Please help!!

Hi bansen92,

Sorry to know about this and thanks for reporting this! Can you check your device in Safe Mode and observe it for some time? If it's still the same, kindly perform a Factory Data Reset by backing up your contacts and data. We recommend performing a reset after a Software update as it helps to start the device afresh and that could solve your concern.

Regards,

Suman

Hi prashanthgs15,

Sorry to know about this and thanks for reporting this! Are you getting any error/notification when you try to connect? Have you checked with a different cable? Are you using the original cable? Kindly let me know.

Regards,

Suman

Hello , i have been facing new problem after MOP Andriod 10 updated ==> i cannot hear BEEP sound after the call has ended. sound comes sometimes but not always . checked with other networks also and one more MOP mobile . Issue exists.

we understood your MOTO developers will not give new features for this one year old Android ONE mobile, but try to avoid creating new issues.

Hi prashanthgs15,

Could you please try with another cable and see if you are able to connect? Also, kindly update your device IMEI on your profile.

Hi NKmoto1, thanks for reporting! Have you performed a Factory Data Reset or any troubleshooting steps? Kindly let me know.

Hi ArpanRay,

Could you please elaborate on your concerns? I believe you mentioned earlier that performing a Factory Data Reset fixed most of your issues. Let me know for further assistance.

Suman
