there is no point posting about the update here it is very clear that notification about "pie update in few days "was just a ruse for selling the more devices it will come when ever they decide to update it for everyone. having said that really disappointed with security updates not being regular i bought this device over other alternatives because of it being android one. feels like wasted couple of thousad just for the tag it clearly is not android one device
#feeling cheated

Seems Moto is misusing Android One brand , no security update , no pie update.
I choose this device only because of Android One, now regretting for the decision.

Dear Moto, if you are giving a valid reason we are ready to wait for another month for pie update. But whatever the reason we can't wait for security patch updates. 85 days old patch on android one device is brutal. If this is continuing we are left with only option to ask you to give back our money.

Exactly my thoughts too. Forget Pie. Users in UK have October security patch on Motorola One. Here in India with Motorola One Power, we are left with a device that is less secure than other Android One devices on the market.

My one year old Moto E4 Plus that's running on nougat recently got October security patch. At least MOP should get that.

Forget the pie update, if the stable update is not ready how did Motorola published a page that said pie is rolled out. That's misrepresentation. any law students here can understand what I mean and it's consequences.

Yes,i too have asked Motorola agent in live chat, and they still told me the same thing that,no stable updates are being rooled out ,they are beta updates.whenever stable updates are going to roll out,it is for all devices.
