You should be careful what you wish for. News story out about significant battery drain on Android Pie.

You can't roll back updates, so if it were me, I would rather stay on Oreo and wait for Pie that doesn't drain my battery.

Ive been a Nexus 5 user for past 5 years and it still is my secondary phone and even on that i used to try and delay updating atleast for 1month and keep checking online to see if others are facing any issues with that particular update or not and only then used to update .I suggest that all the users should do it too, lets youtubers or tech guys do the update and figure out the issues  . I love my moto one power .The only reason i bought moto one power was for the humongous battery and the stock os :D .Im loving the Oreo i mean coming from Nexus 5 i couldnt ask for more :D .Hopefully Google will be able to iron out the issues before moto folks release the pie.

Ps : I do not work for Motorola, I'm just a consumer who owns a Motorola one power

Thats a good reply... ??

So if you are testing beta rom with someone like him and if he's having battery drain after stable update what will you do......?

You must relase beta rom to them first....

The September security update came when October was nearly done. I guess we are looking at December for the October security update. So much for their monthly security updates which is plastered all over their product information page.

Saw the 5000mah battery plus Android One and made the mistake of purchasing a Motorola device. If nothing changes, I'll be staying away from Motorola and advising the same to eveyone else.

And @MattForumsMngr, would you please quit deleting whatever posts you don't like. Just abusing your power as the admin won't solve anything. Polarising the already dwindling amount of customers Motorola has got left won't help you or the company.
