Downgrade from Andriod 10 to Android P

2020-02-11, 7:08 AM

After upgrade to Android 10, I am facing so many issues:

1. Wi-fi frequently disconnects

2. Speaker and microphone stops working and you have to restart phone to resolve it

3. While calling a number, the phone hangs and you cannot disconnect the call

4. Mobile network signal is always weak and it hardly works

Please tell me the process to downgrade back to Android P. I dont see Motorola would ever provide a patch for all the above bugs.

I have similar problem with networks. Phone after update is hanging up by himself, microphone is stoping to work also speaker i can not hear anybody, i have thinked that was some network issue due to weather is windy but after googling it is releated to android 10 issue. I want also to downgrade or reset evrything in phone, maybe this will help. Motorola One Vision

Moto support - Please give us steps to perform this downgrade at the earliest.

Just to add - I have tried phone reset, booting in safe mode, resetting network settings etc. But the problem listed earlier are permanent and seem to be only with your upgrade software. I am not asking for any resolution or patch (as I have given up, I have no hope of getting that from Motorola now). I am only requesting to go back to a stable Andriod Pie version which did not have all these issues.

Help me please !!!!

Hi All,

Sorry to hear the inconvenience caused and thanks for reporting! Kindly confirm if you all have performed a Factory Data Reset, we recommend performing a reset after a Software update as it helps to start the device afresh and that could solve your concern. If not, I would suggest to perform and let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Suman

Hi rajanjindal,

Thanks for confirming! I have asked you to share a Bug Report and update the device IMEI on your profile in this thread. Kindly share it with us so we can report it to our concerned team.

Suman

Hi rbodych,

Thanks for updating your device IMEI number. Could you please confirm if it's the same with other SIM cards? If you haven't checked it yet, can you check and let me know? Also, kindly perform a Factory Data Reset by taking a back up of your contacts and data. Go to  Settings > System > Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone > Enter your Screen Lock > Select Erase Everything to begin the reset. Let us know how it goes.
We recommend performing a reset after a Software update as it helps to start the device afresh and that could solve your concern.

Regards,

Suman

MY IMEI number is already updated.

I do not want to submit any bug report and waste my time in waiting and hoping for a resolution. All I am asking is steps to downgrade to Android P please.

Hi,

Please be informed that there is no option to downgrade a Software Update.
