Seriously this is a major functionality that every user want. My money is waist. Because I don't use my notch display to see full screen apps.

Motorola company is useless. They don't have good employees and even the CEO is horrible. They dont know what are the software and features are in trending and more valuable in daily life.

This thing i noticed  while playing video/g-a-m-e apps in moto one power the notch area is not covered whereas in other devices it covers the notch area in video. Kindly fix this, this was a key selling point for this phone!! I even updated to Pie but still issue is not resolved.

Let's take a device, literally and technically, for what it is meant for - in this case, a smart 'phone'.

The 15.7 cm screen on MOP is big enough space for a mobile phone to watch movies.  The notch on the MOP cannot be hidden as it's a 'hardware' notch rather than a software one.  Even if the notch part were to be used for extending the screen while watching movies and all, it'd give you a 'hidden' view rather than a full view.  Thus, technically and aesthetically, it makes sense in not including the notch space for extending the screen for movies and gaming where you might miss some important aspect of a movie/game 'behind' the notch part.

One may argue that the notch space gets included while viewing the home screen, so why not the same with movies and gaming.  Fact is, we do not look at the entire home screen or need to 'access' the entire home screen at any given point of time.  We spend a very miniscule amount of time on the home screen, so inclusion of the notch space for that view does not matter to our usage perception.

On a different note, the least we can do is to be courteous and show our professionalism to everyone on a forum rather than a crude way of showing what we need or think.  Yes, we're the customers/users, but that does not give us the right to say whatever we want, especially disrespect anyone, just because our expectations did not match the features provided in a device.  Better research before buying a device helps in keeping the expectations on an even keel.
