Horrendous Signal Issue - Motorola One

Hi Guys,

My Motorola One has developed a mysterious signal issue effecting my ability to make and recieve phone calls or get any 3g, 4g coverage.

The problem is intermittent and I can have strong 4g signal one moment and then it will disapear completely.

I am spending vast amounts of the day without any phone signal, with random bursts of connectivity where the handset will suddenly pick up signal for a minute or two.

For anyone thinking this may be a network issue - I have tried my SIM in my old Motorola handset side to side with the Moto One, old handset will recieve full 4g connectivity - Motorola One will fluctuate between having none / minimal 3g.

For troubleshooting I have tried the following:

Handset reset

Cleaning Sim Tray & Sim

Tried an alternative Sim

Reset APN

On/Off automatically select network

Changed prefered network type to 3g (3g even doesnt work)

Since new this handset has experienced absolutely woeful signal compared to my old Moto X Play (on the same network, in the same locations) - but roughly around the last update it had become pretty much unusable and even making and recieving phone calls is near impossible with calls randomly dropping/not connecting.

If anyone has any suggestions i would be grateful before I send this handset back under warrenty.

Many thanks!

Re: Horrendous Signal Issue - Motorola One

This has been one of the consistent issue with Moto One series.

Moto needs to provide an update on network stability but thats too much to expect from them.

I'd say deal with the problem just like everyone else.

Re: Horrendous Signal Issue - Motorola One

Having the same issue too with calls.  Lots of missed calls when the phone never rings.  When I hear my phone ring, I am almost surprised.  Already exchanced the phone "under warranty" but that didn't solve the issues.  Debated getting the Moto G7 and selling the Motorola One on Craigslist as I used two prior Moto Gs but that phone is huge (for a guy to carry around IMO).  HELP!  How can a newer model have such flaws on such a basic operational feature???
