Moto one power -Battery Performance Reduced

I purchased Moto one power 3 months ago, the only reason to get this phone was battery.

It used to get charged full in 2 and half hour, and could use upto 8 hrs.

But now it's performance reduced drastically.

Today I charged it for 3 hrs, it charged from 10% to 55% only, battery draining speed is also got affected in just 3 months. So what do I do should I charge it for 6 hrs and use for 6 hrs?

Please provide proper assistance.

Thanks.

Hi.

A couple of questions:

  • Are you using the charger that came with the phone?
  • When you plug it in, do you see a little "TurboPower connected" message show briefly toward the bottom of the screen?

Also, please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Thanks,

Re: Moto one power -Battery Performance Reduced

I am sailing on same boat.I am a user like you ,not moderator.

Sushant i think the reason for having weird fastcharging trends experienced by different users is related to cache.

With pie ,google has shown oversmartness to remove cache partition. Now in recovery you will not find a way to clear it.

Without rooting you cant cant  clear system cache.

Cache on other side is known to cause different issues if not existing in proper sync.

I experienced sometime back, noise in camera photos.I individually cleared moto camera app cache and problem was solved. So i have inhibition this problem is due to cache not cleaning.

In oreo there was no such issues.Storage option had directly the way to do that.

Google has fixed this problem but on their pixel devices in their Oct Security update.I have no knowledge if that fixed here something.Atop of it,moto has not given any dowload/flash method directly being on rom or any individual files to flash so we are handicapped.

Re: Moto one power -Battery Performance Reduced

Are you living in a hot place where there are summers?.If so make sure that you start your charging process in airconditioned situation with temperature of battery not exceeding 32-35 degC .

Sorry, but I don't think this theory is correct. There is no relationship between charging and storage.
