Motorola One Power (Google camera) issue after Android 10 update

2019-12-21, 12:08 PM

Hello guys

There is a bug in Android 10 which I just came to know.

In this version of android, GCam's night vision mode does not support, you can't able to take photos in night vision mode but works other modes.

I have checked several versions of GCam apk, but no one supports night vision mode though it was supporting in Android 9 Pie.

So, if anyone wants to use night vision mode then please do not update to android 10 until it gets a fix.

let me know if anyone also facing the same issue.

Hi hemant2110,

Thanks for posting! First of all, I would like to inform you that GCam isn't compatible with Motorola One Power. As you are using the apk version, this could be because the file is not compatible with Android Q yet.

Regards,

Suman

Hi Matt-Murdock,

May I know how have you installed it? Is it an apk file?

I agree with Matt, it is supporting on the previous version of Android very well. It is very important to support GCam because the default camera of Motorola one power is really very bad.

So, I wish Motorola fix this problem soon.

Let's see!

Yes its an Apk file obvoulsly as its not available in playstore and I dont have the link handy i got it from a youtube video. Just search for gcam7.2 for mop in youtube and you would get it.

Hi all,

Google Camera is only supported on Pixel devices. We do not support this app on our phones. Any links to download/sideload the Google Camera application will be removed.

Suman
