Navigation buttons

Navigation buttons/navigation bar is not hiding automatically when not in use.

I'm not sure what you are seeing/expecting. Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing and an explanation of the expected behavior?

See in the Chrome and almost in all the apps the navigation bar doesn't hide when not in use. But in some third party apps it hides automatically when not in use thus giving the best viewing experience.

I don't see this as a change from Oreo - seems to work exactly the same, at least for the types of examples you showed above. Navigation disappears in some applications, particularly where you are viewing images it seems, but not others such as Chrome.

 

I looked through some descriptions of the new navigation on Pie and didn't see anything to indicate this isn't working normally. But maybe I missed something?

Actually I don't know whether it was normal or not so I requested to check and confirm me. And I also  requested if it is normal then move my thread to Motorola one power feature suggestion thread. One of Moto admin moved this thread I think!
