Swipe fingerprint for notifications is not present

2019-12-07, 11:36 AM

Hello everyone,

I deeply miss the swipe fingerprint sensor for openeing notifications features in the Motorola One. This is a built in Android 9 feature which is somehow disabled. I can find it if I search the setting but it takes me to an empty Screen:

This option can be found in Android 9 in Settings -> System -> Gestures. On the left, in Motorola One it is missing. On the right an example of it in the G7 Play.

Description of function in G7 Play:

It has also been reported missing on the MOP. This feature is for me one the biggest highlights of big screen smartphones with fingerprints sensor and makes navegation much faster. So, why is it disabled? Can I renable it through ADB or any other method? Is it coming with Android 10 to Motorola One?

Thanks and regards
