Vibration not strong enough

2018-10-23, 3:13 AM

You are not the only one. I am finding my new Motorola One phone's vibration WAY WAY WAY TOO WEAK. I have missed numerous calls because of that.

Hi.

That's not something that's adjustable. The best suggestion I can give is to see if you can compare the vibration on your device with another motorola one. If you find that yours is unusually mild compared to the other, that can be addressed through warranty.

Do not think service center can do anything?.

My Motorola One vibration is also very weak, you can hear it ok if on a hard surface, but if on anything soft - it has to be completely silent in the room to hear it.

With my Motorola G4 in my back pocket, I can feel it vibrating when someone rings, my Motorola One I can't feel it vibrating.

If I put the two phones together on a hard surface, go into the Gboard preferences, set Moto One on full 100% vibration, it is equal to about the 41% setting on the Moto G4.

Not all phones support the same level of vibration. This is not scientific, but it seems to me that heavier, thicker phones support a little more rumble.

My point is that if MotoDisplayFan's vibration feels significantly softer than the vibration on another motorola one power, then we can address it. If all of them vibrate about the same (which sounds likely given your comment), then there is no adjustment.

I understand, but I don't have any other Motorola One to compare to.

I feel that it is functioning properly but just that it is a design flaw that it is so weak. I have also noticed other users (Motorola One and Moto G6, etc...) complaining that the new glass back phones have very weak vibration.

I'll certainly share this feedback with the team. Thanks.
