Android 10 upgrade breaks google pay???

Just recieved the Android Q update yesterday. Now today, my phone tells me my phone is no longer certified for Google Pay? What did you do to my phone, Moto??

Thanks for reporting and sorry about that. We want to look into this. Please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Hi again.

 

Can you go into Google Play Store > Menu on left > Settings > scroll to the bottom and check Play Protect Certification? See if it's certified or not?

It says it's not certified There's no reason it shouldn't be. It was purchased directly from my carrier and is not rooted . I don't sideload any apps

Thanks - that's helpful. Need to ask one more thing. In that same lefthand menu in Google Play Store, please go into Account and tell me what the Country is that's listed there.

Is this fixed ? If not I'm returning my phone. This issue plus no Android 10 upgrade for Canadians is a huge show stopper. Come on Moto.
