Bluetooth issue Motorole One Vision

2019-09-11, 16:49 PM

Frequently I can no longer connect a perviously paired bluetooth device.  This happens in more than one situation:

  • attaching my Vervebuds
  • use my phone for Bluetooth tethering

A reboot of the phone solves the issue.  But of course this is not a practical solution

Thank you for reporting, can we quickly try to reset the Bluetooth. To do so go to Settings > Network & Internet > three dots > Reset.

Let us know how it goes?

Resetting the bluetooth as you described solves the issue only temporarily.  The issue was back in less than  1 day.   It only solves the symptoms but not the root cause

Next to that the solution proposed has a lot of side effects.  I've lost all my registered Wifi passwords.

Restarting the phone takes only 3 minutes and solves the issue also temporarily, but I don't lose all the network settings.  So that is definiely a better approach.

Of course solving the rooot cause would be much better

I have a similar problem.
After updating android9 to the security version from September 2019, I can't connect to bluetooth headphones.
After connecting the bluetooth, it hangs and a message about closing the application appears.

In addition, I do not have three dots in the network settings. How can I restart bluetooth?
Restarting the phone does not help

I see the issue as well. After a reboot, I can connect to one or two Bluetooth devices without problems but then all of a sudden, I can't connect to anything, without rebooting again.

It is very annoying, as I use Bluetooth intensely for my car, camera, door etc.

Hoping for a fix!

Bluetooth is not working. Phone does not show bluetooth icon. Phone does not pair with other phone (moto g5s).

Rebooting the phone does not solve the problem :(

Re: Bluetooth issue Motorole One Vision

I have tried reseting blutooth devices, resetting all wireless/network/bluetooth settings in the system menu, deleting all storage and cache for the bluetooth app, all coupled with reboots and combinations of the three - nothing can make it work for even 5secs for me, the bluetooth app just crashes.

Absolutely horrific update.

I have sent in a bug report.

It was first reported on these forums on 1 Oct so not sure why they are still deploying this.

Similar problem.

Brand new Motorola one Vision.

It plays audio over bluetooth for a few seconds, then breaks off.

The phone doesn't connect anymore to the car.

Power cycle of the phone makes it connect again, but the problem repeats itself.

Should be fixed soon.

Same Problem here,

Can't connect to any bluetooth device since the september Update.

Not even a Hard reset did the job.

As soon as the phone tries to connect via bluetooth, the app crashes.

"Bluetooth app has crashed"

Hoping for a quick fix.
