How to turn off Active Photos?

So, went delving into the settings on the camera and stumbled across something I couldn't find a way to change. Under Settings -> Selfie camera, option "Selfie photo mirror" is greyed out (and off by default). Pressing it gives a pop-up message saying "Selfie photo mirror is turned off when Active Photos is on". How to turn off Active Photos then? Did a search in the pdf manual for MOV for the word "active", didn't get that many hits and none seemed in any way relevant to photos.

Re: How to turn off Active Photos?

Go into the Phone settings  and if there is a search bar type the word active and with luck you should find a setting.

Re: How to turn off Active Photos?

  1. Open the 'Camera' app.
  2. Switch to the front camera, you can do this by clicking the button next to the shutter.
  3. You should see 6 icons:
    1. HDR
    2. Flash
    3. Timer
    4. Active Photo's
    5. Auto/Manual
    6. Settings
  4. Disable 'Active Photos' by tapping the 4th icon.
