Re: Keyboard sensitivity low in Motorola one Vision

Thanks everyone.

Am I correct that this is only seen (or only really noticeable) when the phone is charging?

Thanks,

- Matt

Hi Matt!

Unfortunately not, the sensitivity as a whole is impaired. During battery charging the problem worsens dramatically, but in general use some inaccuracy is felt. Even if you use a screen protector a bit thicker, it becomes impossible to enter information on the keyboard, for example.

Are you all using a screen protector?

Yes, I am using a simple glass protector. The ones sold as 3D is impossible to use. I can not use the device without it, I am very afraid of scratches on the screen.

Hi.

If possible, we would love to get some information here, like a bug report and if possible, a video showing the issue. (This isn't as complicated as it looks!)

Here are the steps:

1. Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on Build number 7 times on the build number to go into the developer options mode]
2. After the above steps Developer options will be enabled and will show in your Settings menu.
3. Go to Settings > Developer options > Enable USB debugging > Toggle On
4. Enable Settings > Developer options > Enable Bug Report shortcut > Toggle On

5. Enable Settings > Developer options > Input > Toggle on Show taps and Pointer location

If you can then shoot video of the screen while you touch it, so we can see any failure points, that would be great.

Then, if you reproduce the failure, please take a bug report:

6. Once the issue is reproduced, Go to Settings > Developer options > Click on take bug report or Press Power button and then choose Bug Report from the Power down menu.
7. Wait for some time until the bug report is collected. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to collect the Bug Report.
8. Then upload the BugReport to your personal Google Drive and share the link to the Bug Report via an email to supportforums@motorola.com, and include a note referring to this post so we know what it refers to.
9. Provide observations of what you saw happen right before the bug report was taken. Please indicate the time that you observed the behavior in local time.

Many thanks if anyone can do this.

Once I'm near another device I try to reproduce the problem and forward it to you via email.

I hope more people try too!

Thank you!
