Re:Moto one vision display

SAME CAMERA SETTING, BLACK CRUSH IS ANNOYING.

After running logcat, there is something fishy:

This is when I turn phone to landscape to watch movies - i was able to see color change.

03-04 12:42:47.103  4109  4109 I DisplayDevice: Internal display: video On

03-04 12:42:47.106  4093  4093 D DisplayPanel: setValue: video state=ON

03-04 12:42:47.106  4109  4109 I DisplayDevice: Set video state OK

03-04 12:42:47.106  4093  4093 I DisplayPanel: setMode: panel mode = POWER_SAVING

03-04 12:42:47.106  4093  4093 I DisplayPanel: setParam: HBM = 0

03-04 12:42:47.115  4093  4093 I DisplayPanel: setParam: CABC = 3

Adn this is back to normal:

03-04 12:36:37.980  4109  4109 I DisplayDevice: Internal display: video Off

03-04 12:36:37.981  4093  4093 D DisplayPanel: setValue: video state=OFF

03-04 12:36:37.981  4109  4109 I DisplayDevice: Set video state OK

03-04 12:36:37.982  4093  4093 I DisplayPanel: setMode: panel mode = NORMAL

03-04 12:36:37.982  4093  4093 I DisplayPanel: setParam: HBM = 0

I am going to speak with some medias, websites that reviewed this phone and some youtubers. We need media pressure to lenovo fix this.

No, it didn't fix anything. After the restart it looks fixed, but after few hours again the same problem appear.

To ditch "too much black" issue, in "Developer options" activate "Disable HW overlays". After this, "whitening" issue will arise and for some degree it can be solved with iBlue application by putting Filer Darkness dot in line with "D" letter (also all colours in Custom filter colours must be set to zero - square button upright the screen).

Thanks man! I don't know how did you find this, but now I can watch everything via VLC player without any problem! I don't know why Motorola don't know about this and why they put this dark effect to our phone after all?

Now it's time to fix all this mess with all these effects, "too dark/black" and "crushed white".

What purpose they put them in?
