Still stuck at NOVEMBER security patch

Really this is frustrating.....no body gives me support.....the Twitter support just give like predefined answer and I imagine that also here no Motorola agent will support me, they doesn't care so here we go....why does the Motorola official webpage says in the Motorola one vision section "enjoy MONTHLY security updates" do you really believed that you "Motorola" are giving monthly security updates?? Why do you promise something that you can't achieve

Already tried, lmsa tool, normal update option, taking out the simcard and nothing works...I sincerely don't expect nothing at this point from Matt or any Motorola agent or from Motorola just to people know that......Motorola is a very very #_#7$+$83++ untruthful company...

Hi, i might not work for motorola but i hope i can help you (sadly if i could help you but the moderators or Motorola/Lenovo won't)... first, could you please tell me which is the software channel of your phone? Settings > System > About phone > Software channel ... after that i might be able to help you. I'll wait for your answer :)

 

THE BIGGEST FLAW AND MISTAKE OF MOTOROLA AT THIS POINT IS THAT THE HAVE 23 SOFTWARE CHANNELS!! and as far as i know the drop the updates in all of them... sadly they don't drop the same update every month in al 23 (example: RETAIL have all the patches per month but USA-VERIZON only have the september patch at this moment.... THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE, USA-VERIZON DON'T EXIST) .... my phone is in the OPENMX channel and i have the november patch... i haven't received the december patch or the android 10 update so...

 

AND THE REASON WHY THE HAVE SO MANY DIFFERENT CHANNELS IS BECAUSE THE HAVE DIFFERENT "VERSIONS/VARIATIONS" OF THE SAME PHONE... that's why we have a moto one vision XT1970-1, XT1970-2 or XT1970-3, and companies that "change" the software (VERIZON/AT&T/MOVISTAR/TELCEL/ETC) so for that part i understand... but no in the "RETAIL" channels... i bought my phone directly from Motorola so i wanna know if my channel sofware is retail.... :/

I'm getting monthly updates, there could be an issue with your phone or some regional problem.
Have you tried to do a factory reset?

The latest version (from what I have found on the internet is the PSAS29.160-50-3... for the XT1970-1 and XT1970-2 versions of motorola one vision... PROBABLY... you'll recieve the update directly to Android 10... but I'm just guessing... Sorry if I coudn't help you a bit more :(

I have reteu and XT1970-3.

I got 2 updates in December, first a maintenance update in mid month and  then sec patch update buy the end of the month.

Thats because you are in a "RETAIL" channel... if I'm correct, you have the PSAS29.160-55-7-1 update right? I have the PSAS29.160-55-7 update (I'm on OPENMX channel) and this update is still the november patch... as I said before THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IS THE 3 VARIATIONS OF THE SAME PHONE (AROUND THE WORLD) and the fact that they have 23 SOFTWARE CHANNELS
THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION BUT MOTOROLA WENT DOWN SINCE THE DAY LENOVO BOUGHT IT :(
