Hi Jayu1907,

Greetings from Motorola and sorry to know about this. May I know when did this start?, Are you using a screen guard/screen protector? If yes, can you remove it and check if it's the same? Also, just to make sure no third party app is causing this, can you test you device in Safe Mode? Observe it for some time and let me know.

Regards,

Suman

What does a screen protector have to do with a touch sensitivity, that is (not great but) okayish while holding the phone in hands but turns out to be really bad while the phone is laying on a flat surface and/or while the phone is charging?! Btw I tried the safe mode option and it's the same...with a screen protector installed ;)

Touch sensitivity

I have the exact same problem. When it's lying flat it hardly responds to any screen touches. When it charges it is also bad. I have to tap three or four times to get it to respond. This is without a screen protector.

I use to have this issue with TWO screen protectors I've tried. No screen protector; no issue. I believe the adhesive causes a lack of touch sensitivity. The screen protector is like a condom.

Aha...and why is this "condom" more protective while the phone is lying on a flat surface or while it is getting charged?! :D This condom theory doesn't make sense to me, at least not for my One Vision.

Where is the evidence that having a screen protector offers more protection than the glass which is protecting the screen already? I never place my phone face down or in my pocket with keys or drop it however my first one vision phone did develop a hairline crack across the glass screen when removing the phone case and this is an indication of a manufactured defective glass screen. Amazon replaced the phone without issues. I've had and the condom theory makes perfect sense. A condom, just like a screen protector, reduces sensitivity.
