Hi everyone,

I understand what you guys are saying. we're always looking to make improvements and your feedback is truly valued.

I cannot promise there will be a fix coming but I'll make sure it's passed along to the concerned team.

Regards,

Suman

I thought this feature will work equally well as in my old 2012 Nokia Lumia, but it seems that Moto engineers idea was to distract users as much as possible with a gleaming screen ;)

Thank you for giving this issue attention. The peak feature is clearly broken in this phone. We can of course understand what the engineers tried to achieve, but not giving an option to turn off "wake on vibration" is a huge blunder, breaking the feature. Right now we can either have a phone that wakes and distract everyone randomly at the slightest vibration, or one where we have to reach for the power button every time we want to look at the screen. The options to double touch the screen or wake on approach doesn't make sense, because the vibrations from those action will wake it anyway. It's an obvious bug, fix it by giving us an iption to disable waking on vibration!
