Y580 lagging

2013-02-03, 22:52 PM

Hello everyone. I have my Y580 since november and recently it's started to lag and I have no idea why. I've got no viruses, malware, windows was freshly installed just a month ago, every driver is up to date, and I'm really out of ideas.

However, temperatures seem to be a little bit too high for an idle state:

I tried cleaning the vents but nothing helps.

What do you recommend?

For better understaning here's a video:

What is your room temperature? On my Y-470 I get those idle temps (0 - 1 %) CPU usage during summer when the room temperature is around 27 - 31 oC, but usually they are 39 - 45 oC. If you just had a lengthy gaming session, it's normal.

As for the lag, try updating your Intel HD drivers to the latest version since Windows Aero uses the Intel HD rather than the Nvidia.
