730S-13IWL Graphics Glitches

2019-09-05, 4:58 AM

Hi,

When I opened on my laptop today I saw some weird artifacts on my screen, which seem to affect every window I open. I cannot use the laptop in this state. Anyone have experience with this?

Have you tried clicking on Start button and choosing 'Restart' to force a proper 'shut down' and reboot the laptop?

Looks like it may be a graphics driver issue.

Are you using latest Windows 10 v1903 ? (use 'winver' app to check)

Does Lenovo Vantage report drivers are up to date ?

Has anything changed on the laptop lately, such as a Windows Update?

Yes these glitches are occurring after a windows update (I'm in Windows Insiders Program). I've included pics of the driver and OS versions. It appears that this issue affects individual elements on the screen in the same way...

And yes I've tried to restart completely.

fwiw, only suggestion I can offer is perhaps try an OLDER Intel graphics driver.

At end of the day, the Insider programme is to access prelease versions of Windows which may contain bugs, so you may want consider reverting to a stable release of Windows 10, to see if it solves the problem.

(I don't work for Lenovo)
