2019-09-27, 16:10 PM

X1 Yoga Gen 2

When I puress power button, everything lights up as it should, but takes ~20 seconds for screen to turn on to the BIOS boot screen.

When waking from sleep, takes 5-10 seconds for screen to turn on.

Fast boot in BIOS is checked

Also noticed when I click restart it shuts down and refudese to turn back on...

This is a new to me computer

Your help is appreciated

Hi Hogwarts! Try running the update from the Lenovo Vantage app. Install all available updates especially the graphics driver. Let us know how it goes.

Everything up to date, no change.

I also noticed the other day that when the lib is flipped to tent mode or tablet mode, there is a beeping that sounds like its a boot or BIOS related beep

Does the issue with the display persist in BIOS? Try running a hardware scan from the Vantage app to check for hardware failures.

Does not find any issues in hardware scan, after updating to latest BIOS a couple days ago. Symptoms still persist.
