Try removing the tablet, unplug AC power and any other attached devices from the dock, and then using a paper clip, gently press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds to reset the dock. The reset switch button is inside a small hole on the back of the keyboard dock next to the mini Display Port connection as shown in the image below.
That procedure is mentioned in another forum post, along with a link to an updated dock firmware package (it is a very old version) and appears to have worked for at least some users.
