Razr external screen does not work, external screen does not recognize when the flip is fully closed

Hello friends, good evening. I would like some help, my Motorola Razr model 2019 is having a problem with the external screen.
A few days ago, the external screen stopped working, in this case, I was able to identify that the screen is not burned and it is not a hardware problem, because, when I restart the device, the external screen works normally with the Motorola logos and da razr.
Apparently the diagnosis is that it is not identifying when the device is closed, that is, when the flip is closed it remains with the internal screen working and, due to this, it does not activate the internal screen.
I did the test, when the cell phone is almost 75% closed, the external screen still works, after closing the flip completely it stops working.
I've done all the factory resets and nothing worked.
Has anyone please had this type of problem and could tell me what it could be?

Hi friend, good evening. I have the same problem with my device and I can't solve it, I already did the factory reset and nothing worked. Could you tell me if you were able to turn off your cell phone and what the solution was?

It seems like you've done a thorough job trying to diagnose the problem. Given that you've already performed factory resets and the problem persists, it might be a problem with the sensor that detects when the flip is closed. This sensor is responsible for switching between the internal and external screens.

Hello Rizza, good afternoon! Thank you very much for the information, I took my cell phone to an authorized service here in Brazil, where I live, but they said there was no repair, as Motorola did not have the part available. I saw other users with the same problem, both here in Brazil and abroad, is there a possibility that this problem with the sensor could be something from the factory? My cell phone is 1.5 years old and out of warranty, the authorized company is trying to evaluate whether they could repurchase my cell phone and sell me the new model at a better price.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing with your device. It's unfortunate that the part needed for the repair is not available at the service center. The option of trading in your current device for a new model at a better price sounds like a good solution, especially if the repair is not possible.
