Shipping Delay ):

2020-02-01, 20:10 PM

Main jist of this is. If someone at Motorola sends UPS a request to "Return to Sender". There is nothing you can do. They have a legal aggrement that if one of these requests is made that the device MUST be sent back to a Motorola center. UPS nor Motorola can't override/cancel this request.

Now I placed my order on Jan 26th. I then got an email on the 28th that my order has shipped. You can imagine my excitement. New phone, early receival. So as such I watched the tracking info like a hawk.

Greensboro,NC --> Phoenix, AZ.

Jan, 29th left facility.

It got to Nashville, TN and that's when I got a notification that the sender requested a return to sender. So immidiatly I called Moto to get to the bottom of this. Even they were confused a to why the request. They would look into it. Anyways the phone continued its journey, so my nerves calmed.

Feb 1st

The phone is here in Phoenix excitment skyrocketed. But what comes up, must come down.

Return to Sender Completed02/01/2020 4:50 A.M.Phoenix, AZ, United States

We're returning this package to the sender.

It was never cancelled...

I called UPS, then Motorola, then UPS, Motorola called me back saying that they can't override the request and that the device will have to be recieved at a Motorola facility. (Which is in Fortworth, TX). Then given the option to either resend via FedEx or refund my order and proces through Verizon. (Which orders are delayed till the 25th)

I oppted to reship the phone via FedEx. (I'm assuming ground):

Also, yay.

In Transit02/01/2020 5:33 A.M.Phoenix, AZ, United States

We've incorrectly sorted this package which may cause a delay.

Needless to say I am frustrated and heartbroken at the same time.

Appologies for the rant.

I'll post updates if people are interested.

Also I would like to add that the Moto rep I spoke to today was thee best in all my experiences. She treated me like a person, not a product receipt (which feels like the norm). She expressed sorro and understood the reason for my frustration. Even taking words from my mouth which made me laugh inspite of all this. Not disclosing a name but if she wonders on here and reads this, she knows it's about her. Thank you.

This is not the first time I've seen this report. There is a small thread on XDA with people saying the same. I'm sure Moto is aware of the problem.

Verizon already has them on display in stores and indicate they'll be for sale on 2/6 in the stores.

I guess it's a roll of the dice, but you do have a RAZR with your name on it, even if it doesn't arrive early.

Feel free to keep us all posted.

There is no need to post pics of your unboxing in this thread. You're already doing that in a thread you created for that purpose. Remember this community is designed to support one another, and this thread is about shipping/ordering support.

I'm sure the folks that don't already have theirs are happy you got yours, but a link to your thread, or simply a "I didn't have that issue" would have been sufficient.
