You should go to the NVIDIA website and manually look for drivers there.

Your graphics card is 860M. Search for notebook graphics.

Are you trying the Intel website or nvidia?

You can also download a GPU driver from Lenovo downloads page.
Click the drivers and downloads link above and follow directions.

Go to this link and type Y50, and select your notebook.

Ok try this,

1) go to control panel >> Device manager
2) click on display option and see if your GPU is displayed there.
3) right click the GPU and uninstall
4) go to control panel >> programs & features
5) uninstall everything related to nvidia
6) now try downloading and installing the drivers.

Can u also post a screenshot of the above screen please.
Also, go to control panel >> system, and post a screenshot of that also.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with my new Lenovo Y50-70 Notebook.

After downgrading to Win7 Prof. - I cannot install the Nvidia 860m graphic card. (errormessage unsupported device)

The system Device Manager displays "3D Videocontroller - I've tried the Lenovo driver an the "original" Nvidia driver too

without success.

All other devices/drivers are working great with Win7

Any other idea?

Please help me

Thanks a lot!

So if anyone is having this problem I solved it with this driver from Nvidia's site which I got after I made the scan of my system:

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/92214/en-us

Now if someone lets me know how to fix the other 2 things that are still not installed in my Device manager...

I have

1. PCI device

2. Unknown device

and everything is workin ok. I have no idea what are these 2.

* EDIT - Found the solution for these 2 here
