SO DISAPOINTED with Australia Support!

Ive got an X1 Carbon Gen 2 belonging to a director which failed to boot one day.  So be it.  Call support, in it goes, motherboard getting replaced and it gets returned.  Whole caper takes a week.  We've all been down this road, its what you expect.  Suck it up and deal with it.


What I didnt expect was for the machine to be returned and have 6 BSOD's in the first 5 hours of use.  Run an F10 diagnostic and the result is multiple memory failures in the diagnostic. So now its going back for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.


My guess is it was probably a reburbished board.  During the original service request I received an email saying ETA 1 week for parts, then another the next day saying that the machine is fixed and being returned.    I would have rather waited the extra week and got a machine that works properly, somthing that might thave been actually tested before returning,  rather than look like a **bleep** in front of a Snr Director who had multiple BSOD's on its first day back in use!
