More Disk Space required??

2008-07-19, 14:34 PM
I'm having a terrible time with Rescue and Recovery among other issues with Lenovo installed items.  Will not purchase another Lenovo.  Nothing seems to work as it should.

Anyway I have Rescue and Recovery set to backup weekly at Saturday each week at 12:45 A.M.  I assumed that it would automatically do the backup.  But it doesn't happen this way.  I get up and am faced with a message about "do I want to start the backup".  I click on yes and at that point I get a pop up message stating that I've reached my allotted space for this action.  I increase it several times but it will NOT go away.  The backup seems to be running.

I finally use Task Manager to shut down the program, reboot and delete the backup from a week ago.  I had to do this same thing a week ago.

I then start a backup and it seems to work.

Questions:  If I have it set to backup automatically shouldn't it back up instead of waiting for some action from me?

What is the number I should use to get rid of that message about reaching my limit?

And most important, why has Lenovo made computing so complicated?  I thought I had made a wise decision when I made this purchase!!
