T61p Nvidia drivers Update D3D unstable message - CUDA DXVA broken

2011-09-05, 3:03 AM

A while back I tried the drivers from the nVidia site, but the video playback for 1080p was inconsistent. Today I installed Metro 2033 and upon launching the game, I was told to update my video driver. (Quadro FX 570M)

From the device manager, I did so using "Update Drivers", but it seems like my video playback (only 1080p) is broken again.

Has anyone found a solution to this? Is there a mod that needs to be done to the inf file from nVidia's drivers?

Thanks

Thanks for the link.

Those were the drivers that I initially had installed, but was refuse by the game that I tried to play. I then tried to "Update Drivers" from the device manager, and now have nVidia's version 8.17 .

The games play well enough however video tearing is still quite horrible. For 1920x1200 the chip is quite underpowered!

Sounds like your system might not meet the min specs required for the game.
