Mine does the same thing. You can just go into device manager and delete the item, and then microsoft will automatically install its own alternative driver after a restart.

I have the same problem with Lenovo IdeaPad 700-17ISK (80RV007XPB).
I can rollback the driver Firmware 1.0.0.39 to Microsoft Default but no way to install update - "Lenovo UEFI System Firmware 9YCN39WW Restart Required". Can someone from Lenovo fix this?
What is the problem? Windows or this Firmware update?
On the Legion 5 17IMH05 (82B3004DPB) there is no problem with this updates. All is fine after update and restart.

Такая же проблема. И после этого перестает работать клавиатура ноутбука. Пока не выполнишь откат дров ( ноут lenovo 720 15ibr).
Проблеме не 1 год, почему поддержка молчит?

In this case that most of you are posting the same issue, I would advise that it would be best for this case to reach out to the technical support team or better yet get in touch with any nearby service facility as this looks to be a hardware failure. In that way an actual technician would be able to check the unit for you and disclose information for service.

Hello, Thank you for this helpful answer, I went to the technical support page and scanned all the drivers for my Lenovo laptop and when I updated my bios, it resolved the problem (UEFI System Firmware 9YCN39WW), thank you again for your support. Best regards
