High CPU Usage After Waking From Sleep - System.exe using 30%+ CPU (SeAccessCheckWithHint+0x1c620)
Hi Everyone - I've done a bunch of searching for a solution to this but unfortunately no luck yet... Hoping folks here may be able to help!
I recently did some routine updates on my ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 7 (second screenshot below shows recent updates) and now my machine keeps getting hung up on something after waking up from sleep causing 30%+ of CPU usage to go to System.exe (specifically the SeAccessCheckWithHint+0x1c620 thread).
The first screenshot below shows the Process Explorer details for the threads under System.exe. I can't for the life of me figure out what SeAccessCheckWithHint+0x1c620 is, but it looks like this is what is driving the issue.
I've tried doing a fresh install of Windows 10, but the same issue occurs once the handful of updates below are run through.
I'd note that this issue is only after waking from sleep. Everything works fine after restarting... until the machine goes to sleep again.
Any ideas on what may be going on here?
Thanks!
