trackpad, touchpad malfunction, auto scroll, opens new tab for each internet page change

2020-06-13, 17:11 PM

When I disable the touch pad all problems go away.

It randomly changes to auto-scroll.

It opens a new window for every page change in chrome and then it won't let me click on the new tab.

To restart the computer, I must hold down the right click button and while holding down, I must scroll to the restart button.

I assume I need a new track pad, touch pad.   I can find very little on how to replace this.  Is it integrated into to the Keyboard bezel assembly?

I find a lot on changing the keyboard but very little on changing the touch pad.

What do I need to purchase to replace my touch pad?

2nd post ever. Excuse me if I have submitted incorrectly or in the incorrect location.  Let me know how to do it correctly.
