REFUND/HELP: Lenovo Legion Y530

Good Morning,


I bought:

Lenovo Legion Y530 Gaming Laptop, about 6 months ago.

First opened, I had issues with the OS not being compatible, took it to Best Buy where i bought it, they turned me away saying they could not fix it. So to MicroCenter i went, they helped and explained in basic terms, the computer was not properly installed. Then the touch pad does not want to work also no connection with WiFi, MicroCenter fixes these issues, but its gone for MONTHS. I pick up the laptop, now it has "bad image error", having trouble opening up basic "Settings" (adjust time/date, uninstalling programs...), just called they put me into a loop, been back and forth repairing this laptop, looking online for fixes, but this is affecting my schooling and everyday tasks. No programs run correctly, customer services puts you in a loop, alot of wasted time to just write a complaint on a forum with no answer. I am going to convert my time from fixing my laptop, to complaining and writing realistic reviews about this product for all future consumers. Lenovo i just want a refund. no repairs, no wasted time, and no loops, just my refund.  Unsatified Customer, sharing my experience with my local community.

Hello friend! Im not Lenovo employe i just a user like u and i bought the same a couple weeks ago. 

Also im not a specialist or programer BUT ALL you described seems to be software and no hardware issues.

The simpliest thing you had to do is just to download the windows 10 home from the official microsoft site in a thumb and clean install the windows from the begining.

2nd step was to dowload all the latest hardware + software drivers from Lenovo site (for your s/n) and install them in your machine to works appropriate.


Did you tried the 2 steps above before giving your machine for refund?

I say it again that i have the same machine and i really dont have any problems.

The only problem i ve is when i bought it, they didnt have discound on this one and now they selling it about 200 less.
