L28u-30 - Unable to go above 60hz (sold as 75hz)

2020-03-26, 10:15 AM

Hi there,

I recently bought the L28u-30 monitor which is advertised as a 75hz 4k monitor - however in reality I have found no way of getting this monitor above 60hz at 4k.

Has anyone had any success in getting to go to 75hz?

Not sure where it is advertised as 75hz, but in the product's data sheet the refresh rate is specified as 60Hz. Check out this link.

Its advertised as 75hz on Lenovos own site:

"The Lenovo L28u-30 28-inch 4K display with ultra-thin bezel is ideal for home entertainment and casual gaming. Astounding clarity with colours that flow seamlessly and a 75Hz refresh rate to enhance your gaming experience. Wide viewing angles enabled by the In-Plane Switching panel and low blue light filtering from Natural Low Blue Light Technology with undistorted colour performance."

Hello @preteck

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It looking as though the PSREF referenced by NithishC is correct and that the web site is incorrect and I have requested it to be corrected to reflect that the display will manage 75Hz but not with the full UHD resolution for accuracy.

Thanks again for pointing this out.
