Hi !

Try to download the finger print driver of your ThinkBook directly from our support website.

Link here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/

Hope this helps.

Regards,

They only have windows drivers.

Anyhow they don't have the fingerprint driver there.

Alright. We'd like to know the current operating system in your machine, so we can find other options.

This was asked a year ago and never answered by Lenovo from what I can tell.  I'm on manjaro trying to get the same fingerprint sensor working.  Is there linux support or not?

Hi,

I'm using Lenovo E14 with Goodix fingerprint reader. I can't find any driver or support for the device anywhere.

It is really sad to know that for how long this issue has been in existence and is still not solved.

Using Pop_OS! based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS; would love to know if anyone has solved this issue.

Thanks

Almost a year later - still we have no linux support for this type of fingerprint. There are a lot of them in libprint wiki. It is very sad that vendor which is making laptops with linux, cannot support simple thing as linux drivers for such a trivial thing :(
