I have had this laptop for almost 5 years now. For some reason, it will not power on or charge. I have been doing a lot of troubleshooting, including trying different chargers and power draining. My most recent test:

I unpluggeed the battery. Before plugging in the charger, the charger indicated green as it should, but once plugged in, the charger started blinking on and off as if there is a short somewhere. I suspect I have a short on the motherboard and am hoping for some tips and where to go from here. I have no real attachment to the laptop as I already have a new one and was planning to give this one as a gift.
