Battery temperature tends to rise quite quickly.

Dear Lenovo Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out today to share my experience with the Legion 5 15ARH7H laptop and seek some guidance regarding an issue I've been facing.

Firstly, let me express my satisfaction with the overall performance and features of the Legion 5. It has been a reliable companion for the past two months since I purchased it. However, I have recently noticed that the battery temperature tends to rise quite quickly, reaching around 39 degrees Celsius on average.

Considering the relatively short duration of my ownership and regular usage, I find it concerning that the battery heats up to this extent. I believe it's essential to address this issue promptly to ensure the optimal functioning and longevity of the device.

I kindly request the insights and expertise of the Lenovo community to shed some light on the possible reasons behind this overheating problem. Is there anything specific I should be aware of regarding the Legion 5's battery performance? Are there any steps I can take to mitigate the heat build-up?

I greatly appreciate any advice, tips, or troubleshooting suggestions that could help resolve this matter. Additionally, if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with their Legion 5 or has any general recommendations for maintaining laptop battery health, please feel free to share your experiences.

Re:Battery temperature tends to rise quite quickly.

Hello @zaid01,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

40c should be fine if you're plugged in while playing.

This would could mean that the battery is charging while also having to handle the components heating up.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jack_Lenovo1
