Onekey Optimizer WIN10 stops with an error.

Ideapad 300 15isk.

I had that problem, that my laptop would not charge more than 60%.

After trying several solutions from the net, I installed Onekey Optimizer for WIN10 - was it a fake link?

When it runs, it stops trying to diagnose my PC - with an error message, and "try again".

Several solutions are displayed, but none of these work.

How can I boot my laptop the normal way?

Re:Onekey Optimizer WIN10 stops with an error.

Hi Kurt,

Sorry to read that your machine encounters an error. It sounds like you might have installed a problematic version of Onekey Optimizer. To resolve the charging issue and boot your laptop normally, here are some steps you can do:

Uninstall Onekey Optimizer: Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program and remove Onekey Optimizer.

Install Lenovo Vantage: Download and install Lenovo Vantage from the Microsoft Store. This app can help manage your system's health and performance, including battery settings.

Check Battery Settings: Open Lenovo Vantage and navigate to the battery settings. Ensure that the "Conservation Mode" is turned off if you want your battery to charge to 100%.

Re:Onekey Optimizer WIN10 stops with an error.

Hi again.

I are unable to uninstall Onekey Optimizer. It runs when I power up.

Can I somehow break the this, and have a normal boot?

If I had to reinstall Windows, I need a Bootdisk, which I don't have.

I feel I'm stuck.

Re:Onekey Optimizer WIN10 stops with an error.

Hi Kurt,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. To break the Onekey Optimizer loop and boot normally, try the following steps:

  1. Boot into Safe Mode:

    • Restart your laptop and press F8 repeatedly before Windows starts.
    • Select Safe Mode from the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  2. Uninstall Onekey Optimizer in Safe Mode:

    • Once in Safe Mode, go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program and remove Onekey Optimizer.
  3. Install Lenovo Vantage:

    • After uninstalling Onekey Optimizer, download and install Lenovo Vantage from the Microsoft Store.
  4. Check Battery Settings:

    • Open Lenovo Vantage and navigate to the battery settings. Ensure that Conservation Mode is turned off if you want your battery to charge to 100%.

If these steps don't work, you might need to create a Windows boot disk using another computer. You can download the Windows 10 installation media from the Microsoft website and create a bootable USB drive.
