Re:Stuck at Lenovo screen

Hi,

If this is the case in your unit, I recommend pressing the Novo button so the machine will boot to BIOS, then you can install the OS from the scratch. In the event that the machine refuses to boot to BIOS or if it did not work, it would be best to reach out to the technical support team in your region or consult with any nearby service facility in your area.

Regards.
Dex

Re: Stuck at Lenovo screen

Hi

Welcome to Community Forums!

Perform a power drain Desktop.

  1. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
  2. Hold down the power button for at least 15 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cable and try turning it back on.

Access BIOS by tapping  F1 or F2 repeatedly right after powering on the computer or by the NOVO button so you can get the BIOS page and set it back to its default settings by hitting F9 or Fn+F9 (YES) the hitting F10 or Fn+F10 (YES) to save changes.

If the able steps will not work, try performing system restore to undo  the changes that caused the problem.

Use the NOVO button to access the NOVO Button menu page.

  • Select System Recovery.
  • Troubleshoot.
  • Reset this computer e and so on.

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Re: Stuck at Lenovo screen

I have Ideapad 300 17" with Windows 10. I don't get any error messages. When i try to open my pc, it gets stuck on lenovo screen with a turning circle. I close and try to re open it, it says "preparing automatic repair" and then i get to a page gives me troubleshoot options. I ve tried to restore my system, startup repair, uninstall updates and starting on safe mode. Also i ve tried power drain method but didn't work. Thanks for replying !

Re: Stuck at Lenovo screen

Hi Bh22,

Tanks for keeping me posted.

The computer is undergoing a Windows 10 Boot Loop, a Windows 10 reboot loop can be frustrating to deal with, this are the causes.
A Windows Update, updated or new Windows driver, installation of new software (3rd app or game).

Please try this troubleshooting steps.

Lenovo Digital Download Recovery Service (DDRS): Download the files needed to create a Lenovo USB Recovery key

: After you boot your computer using Windows DVD or System Repair Disc, a black screen appears with gray text (press any option to boot from CD or DVD").
: indicate the correct time and Keyboard type.
: Select Repair your computer in the lower left corner.
: Select Troubleshoot from Choose an option screen.
: Click advanced options in Troubleshoot screen.
: Click Automatic Repair from Advanced Options screen.
: Windows will then look for problems on hard drive(s) and verify that all required files are intact.

Re:Stuck at Lenovo screen

The laptop went for automatic repair and thn got stuck at the lenevo logo.

I tried draining out the battery and switching on it again.

Secondly, I tried the NOVO button and through system recovery, tried to reset the pc (both the ways: keeping my personal files and reset overall).

Thirdly, I tried the boot setup and brought the settings to default.

Fourth, I tried the option of Starting the pc in normal mode through NOVO button.

None of the above mentioned steps helped. The pc is still stuck at the logo.

What should I do??

Re:Stuck at Lenovo screen after installing Windows update

I am having the same problem.  My home screen comes on but the the box that allows me to unlock it will not appear.  I've tried all of the above "solutions" and none work.  This is really pissing me off.  I've had this computer for 9 months and have NEVER had an issue like this with any other laptop.
