GDCAgent hogging resources

My 2016 Yoga (yes, it's old but I love it) often runs hard, even though it has a solid state memory.  I check task manager, and this time it is a program called GTCAgent.  All I can find is that it's a Lenovo program.  I have shut down and rebooted, and it continues to run hard, with task manager rating its power usage as very high.  Lenovo solution center doesn't show that anything is wrong.  Can I stop it?  Does it mean something is wrong?

Re:GDCAgent hogging resources

Hello @bchall2005 ,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

What type of Lenovo Yoga laptop do you use? You may post its MTM number (ex. 8ATN0003US or 8A1N000VUS) here for us to check its specifications. Also, when did you start to notice it? Are there any changes made to the device before it occur? Aside from that, it would be nice if you can also attach here a picture wherein the GDCAgent is shown for us to check. For now, see what will happen to GDCAgent when you select "End Task" in Task Manager.

We'll wait for your response. No worries, we'll help you out!

Thanks,
Adriel_Lenovo
