Hello Socasp1.
Welcome to the community.
Sorry to read about your concern about the slow Wi-Fi connection after your laptop goes to sleep. This could be due to the power management settings of your Wi-Fi adapter. Here's a quick guide on how you can adjust these settings:
- Open Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start Menu).
- Expand the "Network Adapters" section.
- Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select "Properties".
- Go to the "Power Management" tab.
- Uncheck the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
If same issue, please make sure that your system has the latest BIOS and driver updates through Lenovo Vantage app. In addition, check if there are any pending Windows Updates (including optional updates) that needs to be installed.
Please keep us posted on how things go.
