I have a Lenovo Yoga 9i laptop and an Anker Thunderbolt 4 docking station.

I am using the Anker-supplied Thunderbolt 4 cable, connecting to the Yoga 9i's Thunderbolt 4 port.

With the cable connected, the Anker dock is charging the Yoga 9i, but the Yoga 9i is not recognizing the Anker dock for connecting peripherals, monitors, etc.

Specific equipment:

• Yoga 9-14ITL5 Laptop (ideapad) - Type 82BG
• Anker Docking Station, 757 Thunderbolt Docking Station (Apex, 12-in-1, Thunderbolt 4)

Have you tried using a different cable?

Thanks Jwes for the response. I'm hoping the Lenovo's compatibility isn't that limited (only two docks on smartfind).

I have a message in to Anker support to see if there is any way to get these two Thunberbolt 4 devices to work together.

P.S. Forgot to mention, Yoga's OS is Win11 64bit

Docking stations are usually intended with business model laptops like the Thinkpads. 

There are few consumer model laptops like the Idealines that are compatible with Lenovo docking stations.

I bought A brand new yoga laptop last month. I tried hooking up a Anker hub to it but I had the same problem it would charge my computer but would not recognize my wireless mouse keyboard or monitor.

I contacted Lenovo  support about issue and they told me to send my computer back (sent me a shipping label) to them. They did not explain why but I’m guessing it’s to fix this issue.  I sent computer to them today But will be asking questions later to find out exactly why they need it to be sent back to them
