Re: WiFi adapter missing

I have a Lenova Yoga 3-1170 Type 80J8. I cannot connect to the Internet because the WiFi adapter is missing   The Bluetooth adapter shows up, but the WiFi is missing.

I've run the driver installation program h1100044.exe and restarted the computer.  Still no WiFi adapter.

The Wireless LAN option is enabled in the BIOS.

In the Device Manager, under Other Devices I find a Network Controller with an ID of VEN_168C&DEV_003E.  An Internet search shows this to be a QCA6174 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter.  Everything I can find regarding this Yoga 3 indicates that it has the Intel WiFi.

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: WiFi adapter missing

Hi ,

Sorry for the late reply, if the issue is still not resoved,  you can try to directly download the wireless adapter driver at https://pcsupport.lenovo.com. You just need to enter your serial number so you can get the right drivers for your device. You can download it under the drivers and software section. On the website once you got the serial out in, it will give you all the information thats related to your device.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes,

Jeremy
