Re: FedEx Clearance delay, Stuck in customs, No update
My Moto 360 shipping was initiated on 9/22 with an original expected delivery date/time projected by FedEx of 10:30am on 9/25. I've been monitoring it's progress via FedEx online. Yesterday (9/24) at 2:02am, my shipments status changed to red with the message "Clearance Delay" when it arrived in Memphis, TN from Shenzhen (via Hong Kong). It said:

The status has not been updated for almost 2 days. Today, after my 10:30am projected delivery time came and went, the estimated delivery time was changed to "Pending". I called FedEx and asked them to look into this and they said that something is holding my shipment up at customs in Memphis (and the 14,000+ items that were also part of the shipment, presumably other Moto 360s and other items). There have been no further updates from FedEx.
According to my FedEx representative the Memphis customs folks will not be working this weekend, so it's sounding like my watch may be sitting in a Memphis holding location with no movement for at least 4 days before it starts moving again (hopefully) on Monday.
Is Motorola aware of this and do they have an update on when my watch will be making it through customs?
Wondering if others have any more information, as I'd like to have a better idea if the watch will be arriving early next week.
