I want to unlock my moto z play XT1635-03 by using adb but device is not detecting in bootloader screen, when I use same command “adb devices” in recovery mode the device detect. Why the adb device unable to detect device?

Due to this issue I am unable to generate bootloader key.

Did you enable developer options - usb debugging?

Yes I did, usd debug is unable and also oem. I have also installed moto device manager, fastboot and adb is able to detect the device in normal mode, when a switch to bootloader mode ”adb devices” cannot  find any device. I have add the screenshot with this message.

i don't understand what you are talking about. Your phone is acting as designed. ADB doesn't detect if you are in recovery mode. 

ADB devices works in normal mode, and fastboot appears to work in recovery. 

If fastboot didn't work, then none of the fastboot commands would return data. Does fastboot devices work? fastboot get oem_unlock_data works, so what is the problem?

what information should I include with the this thread ?

I have follloed all the steps mentioned in the moto unlock page at the end of the process it's giving me the message that "Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking".

After trying the reference thread you shared, I am successfully able to generate boot loader Unlock Code but in the last step I am having this issue "invalid root state". I tried several times to watch the space or I made any mistake but still getting same message again and again.
